wouldn,t you use a matt/satin laquer?

ahh good thinking!

i'm still not decided... i'm gonna have veilside skirts, spats, overfenders, and top secret front. thought mat black might look mean, but it would be cheaper to stick with the toyota black it already is.

I think with the right kit it would look very nice in matt / satin black, i remember seeing an rx7 done this way. Thge only thing that would bother me is some numpty coming up to me saying when are you going to spray it :D

Matt black is almost impossible to keep clean:( Sain black is much better - I had a crappy old Granada which I played around with and soon discovered this :)

Is that like chalk board black?

Now that'd be cool ... Imagine being able to write a new shopping list down the door every day :D and draw your own comedy vents on every panel when you feel like it!

I was thinking about the matt black look over the last few days, mainly from a radar absorbing paint point of view, as I'm too cheap to buy a roadangel. ;)
