got a stock tt with no sub, what sub could i use that fits into the standard place

Do you mean fits in the place of the stock sub that some cars came with? IIRC its just a 6x9 in there.
Do you have the mounting bit but no speaker inside?

in the back of the car is a plastic box and a piece of carpet which is part of the boot carpet
so is this part of the sub?
