lockys96
anyone any ideas on wheres the best place to get some arch liners made? looks like the fromt arches are the main ones that need making, bearing in mind my arches are a bit wider than previously. i thought sheet metal could work somehow
colsoop
Is there no way to modify the originals ?

Guest Terry S
cut the existing liners down the middle then rivet a strip of thin metal etc in between to the extended width.
lockys96
your the man terry, ill have a look into that. and see if it covers not sure how the other end will attach. anyone a part no for brand new arch liners first
JamieP
I dont think that will work Si, the arches you have with this kit are a lot bigger (not just wider) than the stock.
Homer
Jamies right, with the arches on your kit being so much higher than stock I really doubt you can resuse much of the original liners. Something custom would have to be made up.

ivan
Now there's a thought. I bet I can think of one member who might have rescued a set or two in his line of business.

JamieP
The back ones looked fine to me, i think its just the fronts you need doing, i cant see a stock liner working at all with them front arches from what i see, you will need to take the car to a fabricators to get some made up, there is a place a couple of doors along from turbofit that ive used for various bit, his name is chris and im sure he could knock you some up. Whitesupraboy2
I would use a stock liner and cut it right back to the top of the inner wall, rivet on some plastic (bendable) using heat bend the arch as needed (not on the car ) and then cut and attach. I wonder who has that done
Dave Haggas
Get them first made in aluminium, then give them to me.They would be moulded and then made in a Carbon/kevlar mix material. Have a look at any good high end race car to see what they would look like.

SupraAyf
What have the other widebody owners done so far?
absz
What have the other widebody owners done so far? i have cut slits in the orignal liners and pushed them up higher and screw them into the bodykit arches. but the arch lip on my kit is made out of metal so it just screwed together. That's a good idea mate - Si would need liners that are 3-4 inches wider in order to sit correctly.
