Induction Noise?

Hi

I have just put a Blitz Sus filter on and i am getting no intake noise at all. I get a chattering sound when i let off and the BOV goes off but nothing else. A mate of mine has one on a gts Skyline and its a really loud whistling noise on acceleration, concerned as i am also only boosting to 12psi on bpu! could this be caused by a leak somewhere??

The chattering noise is air escaping through the cone filter from the turbo. You dont get it with stock box that much as its inclosed.

Never had an induction kit on a supe so i cant comment, but the turbo whistle is quite loud with the stock box on, so could that be drowing out the noises your after?

Are you sure the engine isnt drowning the noise of the flilter out? Is it one of these cone filters?

Would be hard to drown a SUS out lol, steel mesh cone filter, mines makes a big noise, sounds like it sucking up eveything like a massive dyson :)

Strange your does not make any noise. With full decat and the SUS you get a lovely induction then spool sound.

Double check all the piping for leaks, mine was a bit more complex as they are not supposed to fit a UK spec cause of the MAF but I made it fit.
