You owned you Supe a good few years? How much did you pay for it?

I was just thinking about when I used to day dream about owning a Supra - way back in say 2001/2002. I was too young to afford one back then but I used to drool over them in the Auto Trader every week.

Then I remembered how much they used to sell for. Now I'm sure can remember auto UK spec's for £6k and Jspec 6 speeds for £7k.

Am I imagining this or did Supra's used to be a lot cheaper? If so what made their value increase over recent years?

Supras now are the cheapest they've ever been. In 2001/2 you'd have been lucky to pick up an N/A for under £12k or a TT for under £15k

My six speed cost me £14 k from JIC in 02

Paid 12k for my TT 5 years ago this May, quite shocked at how mus=ch prices have dropped, not increased as you seem to think

I paid 8.5k for my auto tt in jan 2005, i then paid 5k for my second auto tt in nov 2006

i paid £8.5k for my NA supra in 2003 and sold last year for £3.8k

Paid £19k for mine in 1998 (that was cheap then!)

Paid £18k in Aug 02 from JIC

I swear I distinctly remember seeing a storm blue UK spec for £6k back in 2002-ish. I can still picture the advert.

I know I've heard on here that somebody bought a black low mileage UK 6spd about 4 years ago for £7k.

I must be imagining it.

I'm pretty damn sure I was offered a JDM in red back in the mid 90's for £3500.

No-one believes me though.

When I bought mine in 02 I travelled to Birmingham to see a white TT manual at 7.5k and man was it rough, in every sense. There has always been a dog or two very cheap

Paid £7.5K for my J-spec Auto TT in 2004.

Got my 98 NA aerotop in 2002 for £15k from JIC - as I'm not planning to sell its not a problem, but jeez theres a helluva price drop now!

i paid £5k for my auto 1 year ago and paid £8k for my tt manual last oct.

I paid 6500 for mine in March 03

I paid £6k for my 96 NA two years ago.

My previous '93 K TT Aerotop @ 47,000 miles cost me £15k in 2001 from Charlesworths near Nottingham.

My current '98 R TT VVTi Tip @ 4,500 miles cost me £23k in 2003 from JIC.

JIC also had a '01 (I think) TT @ 750 miles up for £30k a month later, which I'd have gone for had I not just got mine.

£5800 for my 97 n/a last june

26K last year, '94 TT aerotop 6speed.

Reason: there are only a few supras in Belgium.

But it is in mint condition

Thanks, mine was about 40k, stock 6 speed 1996 RZ-S with large brakes and recaro seats

I paid £20K for my 6 speed TT - somewhere around 98/99. It was cheap too, I'd wanted a Supra but couldn't find any for less than about £23K at that time.
