Tricky-Ricky Posted March 8, 2007 Share Posted March 8, 2007 Got quite a surprise when i finally installed the std intake pipe going to the filter and shield that i made up a while ago, no std air box, i have a thermocouple placed in the immediate area, and previous to fitting the duct, i had recorded temps of around 35 to 50C:( i noted temps of ambient when traveling at over 40mph:) so i am even thinking of a bonnet vent, need the room so i won't fit a std airbox, but it just goes to show.
