Speakers not on full power

Been playing around this weeken trying to get the girlfriends sounds right.

A previous owner has fitted an amp and two large speakers on the rear. However, the four normal speakers are not that loud and there is nothing you can do with the normal controls.

They do come on but are completely drowned out.

Has anyone come across this before.

Any information / assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Not a clue, maybe the other speakers are blown? or just dont seem as loud cause your other ones are now amped?

I amped my rear speakers and they are alot louder and it seems like you cant hear the front ones now.

Gonna have to strip the facia down and have a look see at the wiring.

Oh well!!!! Another weekend playing with the carz.;)

Pull the RCA lead out the amp, then you will be able to hear the other speakers without the amped ones over powering them.
You say you cant adjust them from the head unit at all..? is there any sound coming out of them..?
