ndwgolf
Guys, The oil line to my turbo burst and it was a 3/8" line, the new line I got back from the hydraulic shop is a 1/4" line. My question is will this line be big enough for my turbo?? Thanks in advance Neil
Jiversteve
There was a reason it was 3/8". Otherwise Toyota would not havemade it that size. Flow rate through the pipe is a square function of its area, in otherwords the 1/4" pipe will have less than half the flowrate. Dont do it! Chris Wilson
It should be adequate, especially if it's a ball bearing turbo, which will have a small restrictor in its feed anyway.
