Rear end problems

Had the Supra in for service and MOT last week. When i got it back there was a high pitched squeal like metal on metal when turning left. This has developed into a knocking sound coming from the back end when going over bumps.

When i've had a look theres a difference in the gap between the top of the tyre and the wheel arch.

Passenger side front and rear theres only about a 1 inch gap compared to about 3 inches on the driver side front and rear.

What do you think it is and does it sound expensive?

Cheers
