Hi guys

Had my car for a couple of weeks now and have noticed somthing that I am not too sure about if I floor it in 2nd gear it sounds as if my bov is dumping as if air is just shooting out of it, my boost gauge shows that pressure is increasing tho but surly this isnt right....

My bov is a blitz one not sure on how old it is tho is there anyway I can make it harder to open as to me it would seem that its opening prematurly.

I had a similar problem(?) on my last car (S14a), thet was a bailey BOV. Never suffered any long term effects of any kind, but nobody i spoke to had any clue what it was.

Sorry.. not a very helpful post this.

Not too sure on the blitz one, but recently I had someone having the same problem.. turned out the bov required a new spring (around a tenner) and that solved it.

unless it's just enough of a leak for you to able to hear but not enough to stop boost increasing, is it possible it's just the sound of the induction/turbos? my Apexi induction makes quite a bit of noise when you give it some
