Glosphil Posted February 28, 2007 Share Posted February 28, 2007 Hi guys, Just bought a set of brake pads from CW (thanks mate) Wondering whats involved in fitting, the last time I fitted brakes was to an escort years ago lol Brush that copper stuff on the back right ? can you get it from halfords ? Is it a case of opening the cap on the cylinder, pushing the caliper back and sticking the new one in ? Also, looking at the brakes with the wheel on, the pads on it look like they are shaped slightly differently, is this normal ? the plate looks like it has some extra lugs sticking out on the original ones. Just undo the bolt and fold down the part of the calliper and whip the brake pads out (just slide out towards you) and then put ur new ones in.
