Kranz Posted March 1, 2007 Share Posted March 1, 2007 Use Chevron Techron injector cleaner (could be called either of those over here). Well reported to be the best fuel system/combustion chamber/valve cleaner. The big name brands will do your engine no harm. Just make sure whatever you buy says 'catalyst safe' or similar (if you still have cats fitted). Most injector cleaners do what they say with varying degrees of success... Slick 50 injector cleaner actually did proper research and published the results... which were pretty good. Just a shame their oil additive doesn't do much Or you can run on Shell V Power for a couple of months and that will clean the fuel system, and keep it clean.
