Rear wing removal

Hi everyone.

Ive taken my rear wing off, (very easy following advice from threads), its been off for 3 weeks now and Ive had grommits in since, Im now convinced its the way ahead for me. Ive read a lot of threads about it and Ive only got an NA so I dont think it will cause me any handling issues.

What Im after is any advice on how others, who have done the same, have solved the problem of the holes. Do I have them filled and then the hatch resprayed? or is there a good alternative? Any constructive comments would be greatfully received.

Bob:) :)

I would imagine the only real safe way would be to weld a blank under the hole and put a skim of filler over it. I wouldn't risk just filling the hole as filler shrinks a little over time and will show as a crack in the paint. Could potentially fall out.

Welding the holes up is a very small job, if you're going to have the boot painted anyway it's what i would do :)
