There is a show on at Donnington Park over the Easter weekend. Mostly Barry cars but what may interest us is the time attack on the track where we can wizz round.
Would anyone be interested in having a stand there?
Defo interested in a club stand. We'll probably be going anyway as it's only 30 mins away from us.
I would make the trip down if enough people were interested Daman!!;)
It's probably a couple of hours from here at the most!!

I have attached the booking form, we need to do these indervidually as we are a tad short of time, not to mention the hasstle it is. Can we have this filled in an sent within a couple of weeks please?

For the club stand info just fill in your details, ill sort the bigger one.
Once you have sent it, please alter your name in the list saying you have sent payment, no of passengers and reg number (if you dont want your reg here, pm me)
I will be there from friday night\late afternoon. I am going to try and get the flags/banners and posibly see about the marquee. Failing that i have a mini marquee. Ill probably be there til monday morning too :eek:
I am arraging for us to have a larger area, that we we can spread out a little, and obviosly fit uber tents in. Anything else you guys want?
Finally this is a weeknd event, so if you can make the two days that will be great, but from what i understand you will want to make the whole weekend :)
Local beers in and around the tents friday and sunday night, saturday the show is organising something closely related to a rave :blink:

I won't be camping as I only live down the road and maybe only attend one day.
Can't we just turn up, pay and drive into the club area like JAE?
I may have a slight problem with a irate pregnant wife who thinks I'm taking the piss!! I go to Las Vegas for 5 days, two weeks before this and she's not happy.
Daman, when do we have to let you know how long we are coming for. I am thinking about soming down on the Friday and camping and then leaving on the Saturday night.:(

I will be at the show with my club, be nice to see more of you guys there so I can come say hi, also will be the first public showing of my newly kitted and painted Supe :)
I'll be there, defo but I'm waiting for a new bumper and the paint work to be touched up so will lurk in a dark corner not on the stand :sly: Be good to meet some more of you guys though :)

you can be with your car at all time if you want and also put a barrier around it aswell if you really want to mate it would be fine no1's cars got damaged last year that i knew of

Sorry guys there is no pay on the day if you want on the stand. On the day there are only 'spectating' tickets available on the day and not 'show'ers' tickets.
I have asked for a pitch out of the way so there is no through traffic and a risk of your car getting scratched. I would also suspect there will be at least one member at the stand at anyone one point during the day anyway :)

looking forward to this last year it was great the show wasnt amazing but the weekend was awsome..
One other thing me and DamanC and camping on the sunday nite aswell and of to Alton Towers http://www.altontowers.com/themepark/ on the monday anyone wanna join us your more than welcome, its 30miles from donny took us about 45mins last year.
Everyone thinks bank holiday monday its going to be RAM PACKED but its so quite we got on everything we wanted to go on about 3times and ritta about 10times! Everyone thinks the same thing and avoids going which means its quite empty!

This leaves another two, i can only hope they have already been sent. If they havent then it makes me look a c**t and your entry will be declined by the show organisers. I have assured them they are in the post.
I will update this thread once i hear any thing from them. It does look like we maybe on Tarmac, which has the bonus of being dust free but means we should invest in some of those funky camping seats.

Daman mine and amos went out yesterday. are you guys all staying for the full weekend? and are you allowed pass outs etc?
we are staying all weekend mate you can come and go as you please but cars have to be on the stand in the mornings before the show opens to the public before 10am mite even be 9.30. you can leave the stand and go out during the day if need be.

last year we found a lesure centre just near the tescos which isnt far the lady let us go into the changing rooms and use the showers etc its worth a drive to go freshen up..
they have showers there but after the friday nite the nasty pissed chavs tend to find it funny to shit and piss in them so avoid them! its wrong!

No showers, but we are gonna pop to a local swimming pool to use their facilitys. Dont worry thou, we wont be able to smell your BO, mine will be over powering everyones :D

I got mine saturday aswell :) If you want to bring a mate then yes they can pay on the gate, just go in the office when you get there and tell them they are with you (show car passenger) and it will be about £30

I have dropped the car off this morning for a few bits and bobs and they have promised me it back on Thursday. Problem is if it isn't done, they will be closed till Tuesday..:blink:

you can just pay on the day to get in mate.. wont be able to park on stand but still can go though :)

Either that or drop them an email (details on their website) stating your problem, tell them you have spoken to Daman @ mkivsupra.net who is sorting the stand and he says it ok, and see if they agree. We are short of time so it might be with calling them come to think of it :)

had a good laugh deffo buying a big slr camera next year with a 8 foot lens just so i look like a pro photographer ...i fort they were all nerds but secretly there just like me a desperate sex pest..maz's m8 spent hours with them glamour models ...wish i had of camped but gona have to install a shower into my supra...and a oxygen tank to clense my body and a big mirror and some hair gel;)

Wasnt too bad a show enjoyed meeting some members there all the guys and gals that turned up were tops real nice ppl and to top off my weekend i won third place in the outdoor modded motors comp so walked off with a nice trophy to my surprise.

Blueangel was on the end (to your right if you sat in the drivers seat) on day two. Alton towers was awesome, barely any queues but it pissed it down, still, all good :)
Ill get the pics up when i rfinally get some kip in, some really good ones look to be on there :)
Was a good weekend show was crap was good to meet a few members! Alton towers was great was told it was gonna be sunny and warm ended up cold and wet but was still good!

ah dunk how are you mate? was a good laugh and blue angel is ric he was with us all day sunday (with blue/white car)
did you go to that mfn thing afterwards? it was funny we went for about 10 mins, trying to ask for directions people thought ric had lost it when he said "can you give me directions to the middle of nowhere?" :d
Bit of a strange show, far far too many chavs about in some fairly awefull motors but some supes mixed in which was nice. Unfortunately I only managed to get over to the stand briefly but it was nice to see your cars and have a bit of a chat with maz again, I would have bought the car over like you suggested but the thought of the walk back to get it put me off.
The drifting was quality but the best part of the day was walking back to the supe in the car park and seeing a bunch of guys taking pics of it. First time thats happened and it felt pretty good.

hey mk47 yeah went to that mfn ....didnt think that much too it erm was busy thou few cars from the show there ...called past junc 28 bit of action there ..but didnt stay long had a race wiv a r33 mines missing a lil top gear but still killed it lol....then raced a 911 cab home quick old thing them 160 down bypass gona av to sort me front arches out interferd wiv steering ...not wot you want at that speed then went into local town for a couple gud nite thou:)
