If you use hub-centric spacers (within reason) then the additional stresses placed on the wheel bearings will be minimal - no more so than those created by wheels with a lesser ofset. Sounds good. So if i said to Turbofit, when they are doing my intercooler, sort us out with appropriate hub centric spacers would that be enough for the job to be done? TLicense Posted February 25, 2007 Share Posted February 25, 2007 Although it's quite a different set-up, F1 cars use wheel spacers pretty much all the time. Depending on the suspension set-up for a circuit, the wheel track (distance between LH and RH wheels) changes. We then use spacers to move it back out to the max legality. My spacers are 2cm and my wheels are 265 on the rear - I'm not sure what the offset is but it doesn't look like much 1-2cm maximum.
