Ok I got a set of dipped UK HID's to fit from the group by off VisionBulbs. I have mounted the drivers side light ballast but am stuck for space for the passenger side. Please see the first photo below.

Also I unplugged my old lights with too much haste and am confused about the foglight. I only have one spade connector coming from the bul and two possible locations as pictured in photo 2.....any help?

Hi Guru,

Had to take mine out when doing the Facelift conversion so I'll try and help.........

Firstly, mine weren't even mounted properly. They were left, tucked down the side, of the battery and by my Air Filter too. I'm going to, if possible, mount them under each headlight with a custom bracket - could try that? Failing that, you could try and mount it to the side of the chassis wall by the battery - I have a spare hole that would fit OK there.

As for the Fog light, what's the confusion? There should be two leads coming from the fog bulb holder, one is the wire for the bulb itself, and the other is the female spade connector shown in your pic, which attaches to the male spade plug on the actual bulb holder, not the intermediary part that you have in your hand. ;)

Hope that helps. I can try and take a photo later if you want of my fogs all connected up.

Will be fiiting the lights again tonight hopefully so will try that Greg thanks. My confusion was where the femlae spade went but didn't look in the headlight. My bad.

So little room to mount the ballast I might devise a harness strap for the battery.....

Ah, yep the female spade connector just hooks up to single male in the bulb holder, you got it ;)

Yep. I know some people have mounted the ballasts under their headlights, TrickTT has IIRC. A fabricated bracket should do the trick pal.

Ihave mine slotted between the Battery and expansion tank. It's a solid fit, but not secured so got to get this sorted when I receive my facelifted headlights from Jon.

Good luck. :)
