Guest joyrider
Hi all. I'm not technical at all...so be nice. I got a tt uk spec and I want to get a set of 18'' rims. What offset do they need to be? front and rear? And what size tyres should they have? I was looking in to something like a 8.5 front and 9.5 rear. Any info will be appreciated .. Cheers. Ian W
offset should be +50 front and rear mate. 8.5 and 9.5 would be fine as would a 9 and 10. tyres are generally 235, 245 or 255 at the front and 255, 265 or 275 on the rear. aspect would be dependant on the width obviously. Tricky-Ricky
Very much depends on the wheel design, you will find that a lot of deep dish designs will have offsets anywhere between 25 and 35.
