How are you all?

Does anyone know what is the size and weight of the stock MKIV intercooler?

And...if I m replacing the IC with another stock unit do I need to change some other bits (like pipes etc.) or is it just a straight swap?

Is it a DIY job?

it weighs 12 lbs 4 oz or approx 5.5 kg.

do you need the size of the metal matrix or the whole unit?

BTW i think its just a straight swap and DIY'able for most although i haven't tried this myself, just what i've heard..........
