Im sick and tired of driving round my little 106 1.1 thing and having the supra parked in the garage feeling sorry for itself...everyday i go out and look at it wanting to go for a blast but bloody well cant. spoke to mark @ Pheonix and he suggested i dont touch it till he's had a look at it, as it sounds like there is Torque converter problems....and my old man dropped loads of bloody paintbrushes on it last night:rolleyes:

I have almost adapted myself to the 106 now even to the point were the other day i pulled out a jcn and thought wow this goes well

is there anybody else in my situation?

No i've never been offered to drive one, I dont think i would yet as i'd be wondering where all the power had gone when i went and put my foot down in a 1.6 focus lmao :(

Same situation, and have been for nearly 2months. Just waiting for the bumper to be sprayed which should be latest of this weekend but once that is fitted I have to save for tax, insurance and MOT. Will prob be another three weeks to a month before mine is driveable. Instead I have a 'really quick' renault traffic 2L diesel:rolleyes:

Life Sucks for me at the mo

to soak up the everyday miles I run a 405 1.9 diesel estate (or should I say its 'in a state')

I give my cars names and I think it sums it up perfectly:

Supra TT - nickname 'The MingeSlayer'

405 Diesel - nickname 'The ShitBox'

Need I say more.......
